Westfield Area extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 7-11 in the process. They fell 9-5 to the Nekoosa Papermakers. As for Nekoosa, the victory got them back to even at 5-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for they as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
On Nekoosa's side, Montana Rowe was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Rowe has posted since back in April of 2024. Jackie Gomez also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
