Baseball Recap: Pryor Triumphs

The Pryor Tigers earned a 9-6 win over the Midwest City Bombers on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Carter Sloan was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Treyce Crawford was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Pryor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Midwest City only posted an OBP of .333.

Pryor's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Midwest City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Pryor will venture away from home to take on McAlester at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Midwest City has already played their next contest (against Tahlequah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
