There's no place like home for Woodland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Timberland Wolves on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won eight in a row.

Mac Milligan was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayton Cloer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Woodland hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Timberland struck out 11 times.

Woodland's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Timberland, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
