Adding to the longest winning streak in Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 4 this week, Ferndale beat Calistoga 50-28. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Ferndale moved up to 498 from 561 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Kim Jorgensen's team was able to move up by defeating the Wildcats 50-28.
St. Bernard's's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Noah Davis threw for 152 and 1 touchdown and Logan Thrap had 108 yards receiving. On the ground Davis chipped in 55 yards. Oscar Pimentel helped St. Bernard's' passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 76 yards.
Davis was the best running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 55 yards as the Crusaders fell to Valley Christian. Teammate Patrick Allen added to the ground attack by rushing for 31 yards.
Leading Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 4 in both passing and receiving yards, St. Bernard's' Davis and Chandler Wilson have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Davis has thrown for 1,449 yards this season, while Wilson has 49 catches for 643 yards. Joey Wittlake from South Fork leads the league in rushing with 809 yards.
Matthew Tomlin's team fell to the Vikings 50-18 last week, the largest margin of any game. Davis in the loss.
