Softball Recap: Fowler Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

Fowler entered their tilt with Haslett on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vikings 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Fowler pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Haslett, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coincidentally, Fowler and Haslett will both be playing Oxford the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
