Bishop Verot moved up to 360 from 396 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A District 6. The Vikings climbed the ranks as a result of beating Doral Academy 45-14.
Bishop Verot made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,236 from 8,360. The improvement came about via a 45-14 victory over the Firebirds last week.
Phil Dorn's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Quinn Farrell threw for 173 yards and CJ Spiro had 126 yards receiving. On the ground Leslie Green chipped in 190 yards. Beau Fortier helped Bishop Verot's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 30 yards.
