Basketball Recap: Hazen Sets Scoring Season-High Against Chief Sealth

Hazen's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Chief Sealth Seahawks by a score of 53-43. The Highlanders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hazen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Hollander, who posted 21 points in addition to seven boards and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia McCarthy, who put up 15 points.

Hazen's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Chief Sealth, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazen will take on Kentridge at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Chief Sealth and Ballard will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
