Weeki Wachee was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Nature Coast Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Despite the loss, Weeki Wachee still got an impressive performance from Isaac Priester, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Priester scored a full 57.5% of Weeki Wachee's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Alex Wilson, who scored 6 points.
Weeki Wachee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Nature Coast Tech, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Weeki Wachee will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Citrus at 7:30 p.m. As for Nature Coast Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Springstead at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Springstead focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
