Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Blue Ridge on Friday. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was the clear victor by a 21-0 margin over Blue Ridge. With that win, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Kendall Schrock made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Maxton Boddy was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Carson Augustine, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.

Braeden Fox made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 4-for-4. Tate Harden also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for LeRoy, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. However, it's not like LeRoy struggles in that department as they've averaged .456. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond came out on top in a nail-biter against LeRoy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 9-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
