The Louise Hornets lost against the St. Joseph Flyers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Louise was dealt a 52-18 loss at the hands of St. Joseph. Louise has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Louise had strong showings from Madison Grant, who scored nine points along with six rebounds, and Natalie Roades, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and five steals. Grant is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
Louise has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for St. Joseph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Louise will play host again and welcome Weimar, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
