The Syracuse Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Eads Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Syracuse walked away with a 45-36 victory over Eads. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Syracuse.
Eads' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Porter Spady, who scored 10 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Spady scored a full 27.8% of Eads' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Brentley Lening was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Syracuse now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Eads, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.
Syracuse won't have much time to rest: their next match is against McClave at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th. Hopefully McClave focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday. Eads' road trip will continue as they head out to face Greeley County at 3:30 p.m. on December 9th. Greeley County comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
