After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bristol, Academy of the New Church was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 13-7 W over the Morrisville Bulldogs. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 22-19 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Academy of the New Church's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Morrisville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Academy of the New Church will head out to square off against Delaware County Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Lions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Morrisville, they will venture away from home to challenge Jenkintown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
