Woodville has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Hemphill Hornets at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hemphill took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Woodville, who comes in off a win.
Last Wednesday, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Woodville made off with a 52-51 victory over Huntington.
Meanwhile, Hemphill pushed their score all the way to 63 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to Diboll. That's two games in a row now that Hemphill has lost by exactly a single point.
Woodville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-14 record this season. As for Hemphill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
