After both having extra time off, the Harrison Panthers and the Vista Ridge Wolves will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Harrison is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Discovery Canyon just ended the team's three-game winning streak two weeks ago. The matchup between them and the Thunder didn't end well, with Harrison falling 53-35.

Nadia Turnipseed put forth a good effort for the losing side as she almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds gave her a new career-high.
Even though they lost, Harrison smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vista Ridge). They breezed by Sand Creek to the tune of 75-25 last Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Vista Ridge's win came from a few key players Harrison will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jasmine Byers, who went 10 of 16 on her way to 23 points along with seven steals and five assists. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Kaiser, who went 8 of 12 on her way to 19 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.
Vista Ridge's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Harrison has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Vista Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Harrison was taken down by Vista Ridge 66-15 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Harrison was down 40-5.
