Leading Hillsboro to victory were Ella Greenwood and Aubrey Evans. Greenwood scored 17 points, while Evans dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Evans is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Amya Greenwood was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Hillsboro's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-15. As for Lincolnwood, they dropped their record down to 8-19 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Hillsboro will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincolnwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Rams at 7:15 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully Ramsey focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday.
