The Dryden Lions''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 36-14 margin over Deposit-Hancock. The result was nothing new for Dryden, who have now won three matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
Dryden was led to victory by Brendan Williams and Jay Miles. Williams rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, while Miles rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Miles has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last three times he's played.
Dryden's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Deposit-Hancock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Dryden will head out on the road to face off against Bainbridge-Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deposit-Hancock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
