The biggest upset of the week belonged to Unionville-Sebewaing, who took down 332nd ranked Unionville-Sebewaing, 16-0.
Cass City moved up to 384 from 495 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Greater Thumb - West. A 16-0 win over the Patriots helped the Red Hawks improve their standing.
All Saints Central's dynamic duo of Tyler Cardinal and Nick Hunter proved tough for Bad Axe to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Cardinal threw for 17 yards and 17 touchdowns and Hunter had 34 yards receiving. Curtis Leaman helped All Saints Central's passing attack out by catching three balls for 28 yards.
Jared Emerick was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 30 carries, he ran for 299 yards as the Hatchets lost to the Hatchets. Ben Braden also contributed to the rushing game with 79 yards on the ground.
Vassar's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vulcans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tanner MacKay has thrown for 398 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Nathan Greaves has 11 catches for 351 yards. Greaves leads the league in rushing with 516 yards.
A big matchup in Greater Thumb - West this week will be when Cass City takes on Reese. Scott Cuthrell's team is currently in fourth, while the Rockets are in first.
Reese extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Vassar, 23-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
