Cedar Bluffs has struggled against Heartland Christian recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Cedar Bluffs still got an impressive performance from Mason Christensen, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jacob Ishmiel, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Cedar Bluffs has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Heartland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
