They will be looking for a result a little better than the 3-1 loss they were dealt on Thursday when they meet later in the season. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Monterey apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Palma's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Monterey, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.
Palma will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Pajaro Valley at 3:00 p.m. As for Monterey, they will head out on the road to take on Rancho San Juan at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
