There's no place like home for the Jupiter Christian Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They skirted past Atlantic Christian 52-50. The win was all the more spectacular given Jupiter Christian's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 561st, while Atlantic Christian is ranked 198th).
Conner Hoffman was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds. Ryan Deaver was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Jupiter Christian pushed their record up to 6-9 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Atlantic Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jupiter Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Boca Raton Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Atlantic Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against American Heritage at 7:00 p.m.
