The Williamsburg Academy Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Clarendon Hall with a sharp 67-43 victory on Friday. Williamsburg Academy's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Corey Burts was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Teague Ward, who scored 11 points.
Williamsburg Academy pushed their record up to 4-0 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42.33 points. As for Clarendon Hall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Williamsburg Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lee Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 16th. Clarendon Hall will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jefferson Davis Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
