Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Dallas Thunder beat Alvarado 43-38.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Parish Episcopal's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. The game between Parish Episcopal and Ursuline Academy wasn't particularly close, with Parish Episcopal falling 49-31. While losing is never fun, Parish Episcopal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Ursuline Academy is ranked 165th).
Dallas Thunder now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Parish Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Dallas Thunder came up short against Parish Episcopal in their previous meeting back in January, falling 49-39. Can Dallas Thunder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
