Even though the Kehillah Rams have not done well against The Nueva School Mavericks recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Kehillah came out on top against The Nueva School by a score of 65-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kehillah.
Ittai Kohavi continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Kehillah's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bodhi Gemello, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Kehillah's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for The Nueva School, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
Kehillah won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against San Francisco Christian at 8:00 p.m. on January 30th. San Francisco Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Design Tech is no doubt hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
