Othello and East Valley are an even 5-5 against one another  since October of 2016, but  not for long. The Huskies will be playing at home against the Red Devils  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Othello was handed  a  three-set  defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene  on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Ephrata  3-2. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.
Meanwhile, East Valley was able to grind out a solid  win over Sunnyside on Saturday, taking the game  3-1.
 The  victory didn't come easy: Sunnyside scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 18-25, 25-19,  25-18.
 Othello's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for East Valley, they now  have a winning record of 9-8.
