The Kit Carson Wildcats won the last time they faced the Cheraw Wolverines, and things went their way on Friday too. Kit Carson came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 41-28. That's two games straight that Kit Carson has won by exactly 13 points.
Kit Carson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Payge Booker-rady out in front who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Booker-rady hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Nadaya Buttry was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Kit Carson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Cheraw, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Kit Carson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Idalia is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Cheraw, they and the Trojans will face off at 4:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Las Animas' defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them.
