The Southeastern Jungaleers will challenge the Denby Tars at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
Southeastern had been on  a  four-game streak of scoring at least 31  points, but Divine Child put an end to it  on Friday. The Jungaleers were  outmatched by the Falcons and fell  56-6. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Jungaleers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Denby waltzed into their contest  on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took down the Cobra 34-18.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Denby's defense and their 13 sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess:  Damarion Pruitt and  Kenneth Mcclinton, who each picked up four  sacks apiece. Pruitt was another major factor on D,  picking up  four  sacks, forcing one fumble,  and making ten total tackles.
 The  defeat was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Denby, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
 Southeastern strolled past Denby when the teams last played  back in October of 2023 by a score of  38-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jungaleers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
