The Northwestern Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 77-42 defeat at the hands of Wise. Northwestern has not had much luck with Wise recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Wise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Rustin, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The match was Rustin's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Aaron Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Northwestern has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Wise, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Northwestern will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Suitland at 7:00 p.m. As for Wise, they will head out on the road to face off against DuVal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
