Wise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Rustin, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The match was Rustin's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Aaron Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Northwestern has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Wise, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
