Western Hills has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Aiken Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Western Hills won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were dealt a 55-13 defeat at the hands of Woodward. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Western Hills in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Aiken's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. Their rough 67-46 defeat to Withrow might stick with them for a while. Aiken was down 57-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Aiken, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Western Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Falcons in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 38-33 win. Will Western Hills repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
