After a string of three wins, Lakeland's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Archie Whirlwinds, falling 22-7. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 19-2 to the Whirlwinds when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Archie, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Lakeland has already played their next match (against Liberal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Archie, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-7 loss against Midway on the 3rd.
