The St. Francis de Sales Pioneers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-57 win over Providence-St. Mel. Winning may never get old, but St. Francis de Sales sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
St. Francis de Sales' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Davione Doty, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Jerimiya Sims was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven assists.
Despite the loss, Providence-St. Mel still got an impressive performance from Kenneth Miller, who scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Hughes Jr., who scored 11 points.
St. Francis de Sales is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record this season. As for Providence-St. Mel, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
