Even though Fairfield Christian Academy has not done well against Berne Union recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Fairfield Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 55-30 margin over Berne Union. The win was just what Fairfield Christian Academy needed coming off of a 79-26 defeat in their prior matchup.

Meanwhile, Fisher Catholic's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Harvest Prep 72-40. While losing is never fun, Fisher Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 428th, while Harvest Prep is ranked 79th).
Fairfield Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fisher Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Fairfield Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Fisher Catholic when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory.
