If Logan/Palco were riding high off their 56-24 takedown of the Triplains/Brewster Titans last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Logan/Palco fell 61-49 to the Huskies on Tuesday. Logan/Palco has not had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Logan/Palco saw an underclassman step up: Lylah Voss scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Voss hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Ansley Delimont, who scored 15 points.
Northern Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Delaney Sides led the charge by scoring 20 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sides has scored all season. Austyn Cox was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Logan/Palco's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Northern Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-8.
Logan/Palco will square off against the at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northern Valley, they will square off against the Bulldogs at TBD on Friday.
