San Clemente has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Irvine 58-33. The win was nothing new for San Clemente as they're now sitting on three straight.
Hansen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The matchup was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Will Whidden was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Laguna Beach beat Tesoro 51-46 last Saturday. Given Laguna Beach's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Tesoro is ranked 396th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
