Marcus Tabanera made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Brandt Bell was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clayton Schalk, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
