Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Satellite Scorpions walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Broncos on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Satellite sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
They hit Davenport with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Alex Butler,
Christian Lewis, and
Gage Canarelli.
Satellite is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-6 record this season. As for Davenport, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-4-2.
Satellite will face off against Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Moore will roll in looking for their 20th straight victory, something Satellite surely won't give up without a fight. Davenport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
