Wenonah got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They enjoyed a cozy 33-14 victory over the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Jamar Lee was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 54 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 122 receiving yards. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Damazzia Taylor, who picked up 66 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The win made it two in a row for Wenonah and bumps their season record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.0 points over those games. As for John Carroll Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
