Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Strawberry Mansion). They strolled past the Maritime Academy Charter Seadogs with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 71-55. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jhameil Kelly had an outrageously good game as he posted 26 points. Shamar Davis was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Defeat or not, Maritime Academy Charter got some senior leadership from Jayriel Arroyo and Jadin Aviles. Arroyo put up 16 points along with five assists and four steals, while Aviles had 14 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave Arroyo a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Breon Doe, who posted five points along with five boards and three steals.

Strawberry Mansion pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Maritime Academy Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Strawberry Mansion will host Roxborough at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maritime Academy Charter, they will head out to face off against Jenkintown at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Maritime Academy Charter is facing Jenkintown at the right time seeing as Jenkintown is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
