Texas Leadership Charter Academy's Trey Mayberry rumbled for the longest rushing play in 1A-2 Region II District 6 this season in his game against Cross Plains last week. Mayberry's team bested the Buffaloes as he sprinted for 77 yards on the play and finished with 85 in all.
Texas Leadership Charter Academy scaled the state rankings by moving to 857 from 917 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Johnny Burleson's team was able to make move up by beating Cross Plains 21-0.
Christoval's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jakob Whitworth threw for 280 and 4 touchdowns and Mitchell Lane had 141 yards receiving. On the ground Whitworth contributed 110 yards. Luke Parker helped Christoval's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 85 yards.
