The team also got some help courtesy of Will Manning, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Madeira's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Taylor, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Madeira will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (Finneytown is ranked 573rd, while the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS are ranked 586th). As for Taylor, they will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Reading has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while the Yellowjackets will arrive with three straight victories.
