Wilmington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Nelson scored 15 or more points. Reid Juster was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Clifton Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aidan Podowicz. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with five assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Chandler, who scored nine points along with two steals.
