After a dominant victory in their contest last week, the Centennial Eagles were humbled this past Friday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 46-18 punch to the gut against the David Douglas Scots. If Centennial was hoping to take revenge for the 48-24 loss against David Douglas when the teams met in January, then they were left disappointed.
The Eagles' defeat pushed them down to 5-17. The win bumped David Douglas' record up to 13-8.
The Eagles will take on Gresham on Tuesday at home. Gresham is hoping for a better outcome this game after a 91-33 defeat to Barlow. As for David Douglas, they will go up against Clackamas on Tuesday. David Douglas is the slight favorite, but fans of both teams should be in for an exciting matchup likely to go down to the wire.
