The Westwood Christian Warriors suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 88-54 loss at the hands of Dwyer. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Westwood Christian has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Westwood Christian still got an impressive performance from Ethan Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds. Taylor is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. William Nadaskay was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Westwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Dwyer, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.
Westwood Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Booker T. Washington at 11:30 a.m. on January 15th. As for Dwyer, they will square off against Palm Beach Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Palm Beach Lakes will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Dwyer is ranked 17th).
