Sandhills/Thedford had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Winside Wildcats 46-12  on Thursday. With the Knights ahead  30-0 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
 Maurice Robinson was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 192 yards and three  scores while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 113 yards and a pair of  touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 52 yards. Another player making a difference was  Carter Anderson, who gained 93 total yards and two touchdowns.

 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sandhills/Thedford was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 236  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 204  rushing yards in five consecutive  matchups.
 Another reason for the win was Sandhills/Thedford's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Mason Cooksley and  Peyton Saner, who racked up  four sacks between them.
