St. Joseph Catholic extended the longest winning streak in 2A Region 6 this week by beating Wesson, 27-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Amite County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Puckett.
St. Joseph Catholic's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bruins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Chris Hanneke has thrown for 856 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Nick Beasley has 14 catches for 426 yards. Brett Burgess leads the league in rushing with 670 yards.
A big matchup in 2A Region 6 this week will be when the Cobras take on the Wolves. Wesson is in second place, while Puckett is in third place.
