After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Magnolia, Cameron was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They snuck past the Hundred Hornets with a 71-65 win. The Dragons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Hundred's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colt Sandy, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 19 rebounds. Sandy's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Bartrug, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.
Cameron's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for Hundred, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
