Despite their loss, Brighton Charter saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tyler Potter, who scored ten points, was perhaps the best of all. Jaziel Nunez was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Sonoran Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Brighton Charter, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-6.
Sonoran Science Academy won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in December of 2023, slipping by Brighton Charter 45-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sonoran Science Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
