Broderick Vehrs Delivers Electric Performance Vs Hamilton
Starting off the list is Basha's Broderick Vehrs, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vehrs threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Basha's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Vehrs and Basha will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

A Season-Best Performance from Gio Richardson Leads Basha over Hamilton
On Friday, Basha got the W thanks in part to Gio Richardson playing the best football he has all season. Richardson picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (11) he has had since back in October of 2023. His longest reception was for an incredible 89 yards.
Unfortunately for Hamilton, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Richardson. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Richardson saw the Huskies), he picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Palmer Made His Presence Known in Casteel's 40-37 Win
Casteel picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Paul Palmer. Nobody could stop Palmer as he threw for 211 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards.
Palmer might have his next game, a road matchup with Chandler, circled on his calendar. When Palmer last faced the Wolves back in September of 2023, he rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards and a touchdown.

Lucero Jr. Came Up Big in Hamilton's 35-20 Defeat
Rich Lucero Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
With the loss, Hamilton broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1. Lucero Jr. and Hamilton will square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Porter Delnoce Makes It Two for Casteel
Another Casteel player making an appearance on this list is Porter Delnoce. He made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Perry, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Delnoce. Delnoce picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Pumas duked it out back in October of 2023.
