Springbrook will challenge Blake on the road at 6:30 PM on Friday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Springbrook, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Springbrook took care of business in their home opener. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Wheaton 10-8.
Last week, Blake lost to Damascus by a decisive 12-28 margin.
Springbrook's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Blake's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Springbrook's success rolls on or if Blake are able to steal their positive momentum.
