The Palisades Pumas posted their biggest win since November 28, 2023 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Marvin Ridge as Palisades made off with a 68-43 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Palisades.
Palisades' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Jackson led the charge by scoring 16 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Dillard, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Despite the loss, Marvin Ridge still got an impressive performance from Josh Clark, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Brady Dunn was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Palisades' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Marvin Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
Palisades will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ardrey Kell at 7:30 p.m. Ardrey Kell is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 64.9 points per game. As for Marvin Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Sun Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sun Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 394th, while Marvin Ridge is ranked 96th).
