Midway has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Harker Heights Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Midway is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harker Heights in Texas (Midway is ranked 148th, while Harker Heights is ranked 301st).
Last Wednesday, Midway strolled past Hutto with points to spare, taking the game 53-38.
Harker Heights posted their biggest victory since November 14, 2023 on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Weiss 58-29 on the road.
Midway has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Harker Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 18-11.
Midway didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Harker Heights in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 62-57 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Midway since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
